[31 Jan 04] ~ ~ [note ~ this site is an idea in formation ~ your reactions are welcome]

My main purpose is to provide a neutral common site

for (primarily religious) groups in San Diego (and beyond)

to host border-related information ~

to complement what is on the ABS and TBI sites.

Also to provide links to any and all existing related websites, eg : RTFCAM.

`

This can provide a place for YOU to post your border-related web pages

without additional expense or trouble ~

for example: www.BorderMatters.net/ICIR-SD

could be a place for the San Diego ICIR links

linked from www.ICIRonline.org > Resources.

Also, CWB could post all your programs and info to

www.BorderMatters.net/CWB.

`

Of course, this does not keep you from having any other websites elsewhere,

that could be linked from www.BorderMatters.net . . .

`

It will also allow you to manage e-mail for promoting your events and services

that will come, for example, from

ICIR-SD@BorderMatters.net

CWB@BorderMatters.net

(without legal complications with USD servers, etc.)

`

I set it up as a .net to imply networking existing organizations ~

(as opposed to using .org and creating another entity)

Eventually, I dream of having a dynamic online database of organizations.

`

I truly hope this provides some services in answer to our various needs

in serving the border communities. Please let me know what you think!
